These are Web sites by technology coordinators and technology departments that I have found to be useful to me in my job as computer teachers  There are many ideas for computer lab lessons and information about technology integration on these sites.  I am sure I will be adding more sites to this list as I discover more of the talented people who are leaders in the field of technology education.


Beck's Bits and Bytes
Sandy Beck is an Instructional Technology Specialist for Settles Bridge Elementary School (Forsyth County Schools) in Shawnee, Georgia.

Vicki Blackwell
Vicki is an educator and technology resource teacher for the Tangipahoa Parish School System in Louisiana.

Linda Burkhart
This site has information on how to integrate technology into elementary schools and middle schools.  There is also a section for using technology with special needs children.

Mrs. Cannon's Computer Lab
This site, which has instructions on how to do many computer tasks as well as links to Internet activities for kindergarten through fifth grade, is updated monthly.

Joanne Goodwin
Joanne is a school-based technology specialist at Churchill Road Elementary School in the Fairfax County Schools in northern Virginia.

Carolyn Gundrum
Carolyn's site, MIKIDS.com, lists best sites for kindergarten through sixth grade.  She is a media specialist and librarian at Waukazoo Elementary in Michigan.

Lausanne Collegiate School
Lorris Jackston is the coordinator of instructional technology at this independent kindergarten through twelfth grade school in Tennessee.  She includes PowerPoint and html versions of her Tech Tuesday presentations for teachers.
